Joining the club

We would be thrilled if you wanted to join and paddle with us.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly and welcoming club.  We have members aged from 10 to 78 and they are interested in all forms of paddling.

  • If you would like to join us, you will need to attend a Saturday taster session. This is an entirely free, coached session to see if you like paddling (and of course us!).

How much does it all cost?

Your first taster session is entirely free.
Following your taster, you then need to join the club for the bargain fee annually of:

  • £25 (junior, minimum age 10)

  • £30 (adult)

  • £40 (family)

  • There is a £2.50 annual supplement for each adult because we have to pay a levy to Paddle UK (our governing body) per member. 

  • Weekly kit hire is £5 per adult and £3 per junior and includes all you need - boat, buoyancy aid etc.
    payable by card on the day or direct to our bank account (no cash please).
     

Following your taster session, to join please complete the membership form here:

  • Membership form: download

  • then send it to here 

  • finally transfer your membership fees to the account details listed on the membership form.

Note that you will need to have completed a taster session before you can join.​

As club members you will receive weekly emails about club activities. If you would like to come to a session you just need to email us a few days in advance because although we paddle most weeks, sometimes we are away on a trip.
